Data controller

The data controller for the data collected through this site is Giacomo Marinoni, who can be contacted at info@marinonidrone.com.

Data collected

The contact form only collects the data you enter voluntarily so that you can be contacted back:

  • name
  • company, if you provide it (optional field)
  • email address
  • type of project requested
  • project description

In addition to these, the server hosting the site automatically logs the IP address and other technical data for every visit — not only from those who submit the form — to ensure the security and operation of the service.

Purpose and legal basis

Your data is processed solely to respond to your enquiry and, should a collaboration arise from it, to manage it. The legal basis is the consent you give by filling in and submitting the form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal, by writing to the controller at info@marinonidrone.com.

Data processors

Submission of the form is handled by Web3Forms and it is protected by hCaptcha: both receive and process the data as data processors, in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

If you choose to watch a portfolio video, YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, for European users) receives and processes data about the viewing as a data processor, in accordance with its privacy policy.

The hosting provider (Hostinger) processes, as a data processor, the technical browsing data of anyone visiting the site — IP address and other data logged by the server — for the security and operation of the service.

hCaptcha

The form is protected by hCaptcha, an anti-spam service that analyses interaction to distinguish real people from bots, without using the data for advertising profiling. More information in the hCaptcha privacy policy.

Recipients and transfers outside the EU

Web3Forms, hCaptcha and Google (for portfolio videos, if you choose to watch them) are non-EU providers: the data concerning them may therefore be processed outside the European Economic Area. The transfer takes place on the basis of the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission. For details, see the privacy policies of Web3Forms, of hCaptcha and of Google.

Retention periods

Enquiries that do not lead to a collaboration are kept for a maximum of 24 months from submission. If a collaboration begins, the data is kept for the duration of the relationship and for the time required by any related legal obligations (for example, tax obligations); once these periods have elapsed, the data is deleted.

The server's technical logs (IP address and data from every visit) are kept by the hosting provider for as long as necessary to ensure the security and operation of the service, in accordance with its own retention policy.

Your rights as a data subject

As a data subject, you have the right to:

  • access your personal data
  • request rectification if inaccurate
  • request erasure
  • request restriction of processing
  • receive it in a structured format and transfer it to another controller
  • object to the processing
  • lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (the Italian data protection authority)

To exercise these rights, write to info@marinonidrone.com.
